I had the opportunity to attend this Calgary inaugural event, which represented the 4th annual youth forum by the World Petroleum Council.
The roster of events had many information and discussions sessions over the 4 day event held at the Telus Convention Centre.
It was a hard pick to select the events to attend. Although there were several interesting events related to energy innovation and sustainability, I had to pass on those sessions and opt for the Women’s Energy Panel session. This seemed interesting and offered a different perspective on the energy industry, according to the program description online.
As the energy industry evolves, the need to attract new talent and build the next generation of leaders is critical.
